The Edge of the Dark

The ringing bells of life,

Forever stop tolling

As I stand at the edge

And feel the heavens calling

The moon's shining brightest

On my darkest night

the mortal sins of the past

Faced with every ounce of my might

No dark without light,

No bark without bite,

No conquests in life or death,

Without a distant sight

Washed over with the peace,

Of the stillness of the dark

If I could have one more chance,

O lord ,thou must Hark

As I step over the edge,

Contemplating the ghosts of my past,

This grave sin shall be paid for, in perhaps the next life,

Of this eternal misery we reach the last.
